MARC JACOBS | FASHION DESIGNER

Marc Jacobs (born April 9, 1963 in New York City) is an American fashion designer. He is the head designer for Marc Jacobs, as well as the diffusion line Marc by Marc Jacobs. Jacobs is currently the Creative Director of the prestigious French design house Louis Vuitton.

ERWIN BLUMENFELD | PHOTOGRAPHER

Erwin Blumenfeld (1897-1969) was a famous American photographer of German origin. In the 1930s, he published collages mocking Adolf Hitler. In 1936, he emigrated to Paris. With the German occupation, he was interned in a concentration camp in 1940 because he was Jewish. In 1941, he could escape to the USA. In the 1940s and 1950s he became famous for his fashion photography, working for Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, and also for artistic nude photography.

JEFF KOONS | ARTIST

Jeff Koons (born January 21, 1955) is an American artist well known for his giant reproductions of banal objects such as balloon animals produced in stainless steel with mirror finish surfaces, often brightly colored. Koons’ work has sold for huge amounts including at least one world record auction price for a work by a living artist. Critics are sharply divided in their views of Koons. Some see his work as pioneering and of major art-historical importance. Others dismiss his work as crass and based on cynical self-merchandizing. Koons himself has stated that there is no hidden meaning in his works. He also collaborated with fashion industry.

NOEMIE LENOIR | MODEL

Noemie Lenoir was first spotted by Ford Models when she was 16 years old. In 2001, Lenoir signed with L’Oréal, and has since appeared in their advertisements alongside Laetitia Casta and long-term model and actress Andie MacDowell. She has also worked for Victoria’s Secret, Gap, Next, and many others. Lenoir is currently the face of UK high-street retailer Marks & Spencer, and can be seen in various British magazines and billboards alongside fellow models Twiggy and Laura Bailey.
